About

The Twin Meadows playground, designed by Phil Barlow and Boundless Playgrounds® in Stamford, Connecticut, is a vibrant testament to a parent's vision and the creativity of a landscape architect.

With a staggering 25,000 square feet of space, the playground blends functionality and natural beauty, creating a unique environment for children.

At the heart, there’s a wheelchair-accessible tree house and an enclosed deck for teachers hosting classes, while cascading down from the top is a series of play areas linked by walkways.

The site features a waterfall, stream, and a picnic area protected by CoolToppers® shade systems.

Additionally, a wheelchair maze with hedges and a Sway Fun® glider showcase the playground’s inclusion of all abilities.

The project, led by O’Brien & Sons, emphasizes both accessibility and a beautiful, wooded setting, making it a perfect blend of play and nature.
