The Hazelia Field Dog Park is a relatively recent addition to Lake Oswego’s park offerings, developed as part of the larger Hazelia Field community park.
The park’s origins trace back to the City of Lake Oswego’s acquisition of over 125 acres of land in 1990.
This land, now known as Hazelia Field, was specifically purchased for park and recreational purposes.
The initial development of Hazelia Field began in 2008 with the creation of the dog park.
The park’s design incorporates two distinct dog parks to accommodate dogs of different temperaments and play styles.
