The Coleman, Texas Seventh-day Adventist Church boasts a history rooted in a commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

Established in 1907, the church’s origins trace back to Winston Blake, a cabinet apprentice who, in 1958, began spreading the teachings of Ellen G. White.

Blake’s dedication led him to Tasmania, and subsequently, he worked to secure funding for a move to Waco, Texas, in 1964, continuing his efforts to disseminate Adventist beliefs.

Blake’s influence extended to the theological work of Lois Roden.

In 1980, he served as editor of the SHEkinah periodical.

Sadly, Winston Blake’s life was cut short in 2001, following a tragic event.
