The Arizona Korean Presbyterian Church in Sun City began with a small group of Korean immigrants seeking a familiar worship experience and community after relocating to Arizona.

Established in 1993, the church initially met in rented spaces within Sun City, reflecting the growing Korean population in the retirement community.

Recognizing the need for a dedicated space, the congregation actively participated in fundraising and community outreach to secure land and build their own sanctuary.

This involved significant collaboration with local residents and organizations.

The church quickly became a vital hub for the Korean community, offering services in both Korean and English, and fostering a strong sense of belonging.

It has since grown to become a cornerstone of the Sun City faith community, celebrated for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to both traditional Presbyterian values and its unique cultural heritage.
